AeroPress Brewing Guide
Learn how to make the perfect cup of coffee with your AeroPress.
Gather Your Equipment
- AeroPress with filter cap
- Paper filters
- 18g of freshly ground coffee
- 250ml hot water (85-90°C)
- Timer
- Scale
Prepare the AeroPress
Insert a paper filter into the filter cap. Rinse with hot water to remove paper taste.
Add Coffee
Add 18g of medium-fine ground coffee to the AeroPress chamber.
Bloom the Coffee
Pour 50ml of hot water evenly over the coffee grounds. Let it bloom for 30 seconds.
Add Remaining Water
Slowly pour the remaining 200ml of water. Stir gently for 10 seconds.
Press and Enjoy
Slowly press down the plunger with steady pressure for about 30 seconds.
Pro Tips
Water Temperature
Use water between 85-90°C for optimal extraction.
Grind Size
Medium-fine grind works best. Adjust based on your preference.
